This guide is for accounts that were active before 04/11/2025. If your account was activated after this date, this guide will not apply. We’ve introduced a new, comprehensive set of hierarchical market sectors to improve reporting and organization. You can now migrate your existing projects and leads to these updated sectors. If you choose not to migrate now, you will still have the option to do so later.

What to expect:

  • Map your existing market sectors to the new standardized set.
  • Your projects and leads will be automatically updated based on your mappings.
  • Reports and saved views will transition to use the new market sectors seamlessly.
  • Your old market sectors will be discarded.
  • The new market sectors are not customizable.
Upgrading your market sectors cannot be undone.

Upgrade Market Sectors

To begin the upgrade, navigate to the Market Sector tab in the Account Settings. At the top of the page, you will see the banner, “Upgrade Market Sectors.” Click Upgrade. Next, you can preview the full list of market sectors that will be created in your account. Review expectations and click Continue with Upgrade. Next, map your existing market sectors to the new, corresponding market sectors. Once your market sectors have been mapped, click Migrate. Once the migration is complete, the upgraded market sector list will be enabled in your account.
