When bid invitations are issued to your trade partners, each contact will receive an email with a link to the trade partner’s unique Bidding Portal. In their portal, contacts can view bid documents, declare their intent to bid, and submit bids.
The Bidding Portal link does not require a Buildr login. The link can be sent to anyone who should have access to the portal.
Trade partners can also reply directly to the invitation email with their bids attached. Email messages will be viewable in the trade partner’s Activity tab.
At the top of the bidding portal, trade partners can review the Project Details, such as the Project Name, Estimated Construction Dates, Bid Due Date, and more.
In the bidding portal, trade partners can declare their intent to bid by selecting Yes, I intend to bid or No, I will not bid. Once they indicate their intent to bid, the trade partner’s status will update accordingly, allowing you to easily see which trade partners plan to submit a bid.
Trade Partners can upload their bid documents under the section, Submit Your Bid. Any bids submitted via the bidding portal or email reply will be listed under the trade partner’s Submission History.
