Add Bidders

Once the bid documents and scopes are entered, you can begin to add bidders from the Directory.

Add Trade Partners

To add trade partners from your directory, navigate to the Bidders tab and click Add Bidders. Add Bidders Pn Next, search and select companies to invite as bidders for this package. You can filter the directory by trade and select all relevant companies. Add Bidder Companies Pn Once your trade partners are selected, you can either add them to the bidder list, or invite them directly from the Add Bidders modal. If your team is not ready to issue invitations to bid, click Add Bidders . The selected trade partners will appear in the Bidders tab.

Add Individual Contacts

When trade partners are added to the bidder list, Buildr automatically pulls in all associated contacts. To add additional contacts, select the trade partner in the Bidders tab. Under Bidding Contacts, click Add Contact , and select Existing Contact or New Contact. Add Bidder Contact Pn If you create a new contact, the contact will be added to the bidding list and the company directory.

Invite Multiple Trade Partners

When your team is ready to invite trade partners to bid, navigate to the Bidders tab. At the top of the page, you will see a banner that reads, “Unsent Bid Invitations.” Click Invite new contacts. Invite New Contacts1 Pn Alternatively, you can invite multiple bidders directly from the Add Bidders modal. Add Invite Bidders Pn Next, Buildr will list all bidder contacts. To exclude a bidder, simply deselect the contact. Send Invites Pn Lastly, add a message to your trade partners and click Send Invitations. Once the invitations are sent, your contacts will receive an email with a link to the trade partner’s unique Bidding Portal. To set up bid reminders, see this article.

Invite Individual Trade Partners

To invite trade partners individually, select the trade partner under Bidders. Under Bidding Contacts, click Invite on the individual contact. Invite Contact1 Pn Add a message and click Send Invitation.

Remove Bidders

You can remove a trade partner from the bid list via the Bid Level or Bidders tab.
