Import Employees

Getting your workforce into Buildr is easy and intuitive. Download this CSV Template to get started with the import. The following fields will be required in your Workforce Employee import:
  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Email
  4. Role
  5. Start Date
  6. Industry Start Date

Important items to note:

  • The Role must match the project role in Buildr exactly. To add a new role in Buildr, navigate to Workforce Settings in your account settings and click New Role.
  • If you have enabled Divisions on your account, you can import your employees with their designated division.
  • You must have Workforce Admin permissions to add or import new workforce employees.
Once your employees are ready to be imported, click More, then Import CSV.

Export Employees

To export your list of employees, navigate to the Employees tab and select More, then Export CSV.
