Configure budget groups to organize and segment your project budget items
Manage Group Types
Groups are a way to organize or segment your project budget items. To configure your Budget Groups, navigate to the Group Types tab in the account settings.
To create a new group type, enter the group name, select a category (Site, Vertical, Other), and click Create
.
To modify or deactivate existing group types, select Edit
or Deactivate
.
Enable Groups in the Project Budget
Once your Group Types have been configured in the account settings, you can enable them in project budgets.
To begin, navigate to a project budget and select the Settings tab. Next, select the Groups tab and click Enable
.
Create Budget Groups
To begin, click Create Group
.
Next, enter a Code, Name, and select the Group Type. Click Create
.
Once your groups are created, you can categorize your budget line items and measurements by group.
