Migrate Estimates

Migrate your existing estimates into the Budget tool. Your estimates will be recorded as milestones in the project Budget and the Cost Database.

To begin the migration, navigate to the Estimates tab in your project. Click "Migrate Estimates to Budget."

The following changes will be made when you migrate your estimates to the budget tool:

• A new budget will be created for this project.
• Milestones will be created for each estimate.
• The Estimates tab will be removed from this project.

Migrating estimates to the budget cannot be undone

When you are ready to migrate your estimates, click "Migrate Estimates."

Note: If your project already has a budget, the current budget will be deleted and replaced with information from Estimates.
